WHAT Floral Vulva Installation

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, this is E S P A C E and STUDIO FLØR joined forces to create a striking floral installation: The Floral Vulva. A visual statement placed directly in the streets – aiming to spark dialogue and awareness around cervical cancer and screening. The vulva sculpture features two contrasting sides: one in soft beige, crafted by Kathrine Hansen (this is E S P A C E), and the other in vivid pink, created by Stine Nørgaard Bjerg (STUDIO FLØR). The duality symbolizes that no two women are the same – and neither are their stories. At the heart of the piece, a mirror invites women to take a selfie in the vulva – a playful yet powerful call to share and remind others about the importance of screening. Since its debut, the Floral Vulva has continued to travel and spark conversations, now used as a sculptural statement piece in other public settings and cultural events. Created with love – and purpose – for Kræftens Bekæmpelse.
